Laymen's terms: Pub 'A' opens in your local area. It attacks some business. Great. Next, a couple months later, another pub 'B' opens up just down the street...... Does pub 'A' close down due to the competition? Or do the efforts of pub 'A' and pub 'B' both attract a lot more business to this street and everyone from the locals to the pubs and suppliers benefit? Pub 'C' might open up soon but thats when the neighbours start to complain to the council ...but the regulars will celebrate
