We can all drive at 50% of the speed limits as well to ensure we dont get in an accident. Charts rule the markets but one thing is certain and that is when fundamentals are solid then charts will be led by them. Personally these computer packages are no different to having a card counting machine at a casino. I still dont understand why anyone needs to do anything except plug in laptop and turn it on and let the package decide and make trades till you come home and turn it off.
Definately the safe move though is sell and then wait for dips and rebuy but if you applied that theory to THX over the last 2 weeks then you would have missed out on a 50% gain. Add onto that by trading so often you are stung heavy tax. Now in West Aussies case he has held for many years so to start doing what daily traders do makes no sense to me as here he is in a company that if he was to look at today from a fresh investment point of view he would probably buy in at todays prices. Difference is he would have to wait 12 months for tax perk where as now he doesnt.
I wont lie as I have had to sell some over the last few months to survive but I still have plenty left.
