I don't try to guess a company's profits and I am not that close to the action. What I am hoping for is that they show us that they have their legacy problems pretty well out of the way and that McGrath homes is growing its residential sector. I don't think the second half result will be exciting because the vast majority of the Rio work was finished in the first half and made that half stronger than what we are likely to see in the second half.

I would hope that the strong parts of the balance sheet such as the cash holdings remain solid.

If this company can stop its bad news that would be enough to make it look cheap particularly with the housing industry looking promising for the future.

I see I picked up the last part of my purchase this morning at 4.7c
