However, I think if you read between the line - Smokey Hills looks to have recommenced operations yesterday - June 26!
From todays announcement I note; 'June production has been further impacted by a Section 54 “safety stoppage” leading to a complete shutdown from 21st June through to 25th June and as a consequence tonnes mined for June are expected to be approximately 29,000".
That is four/five days lost production inclusive June 21-25 (However, also noting I don't think the South African workforce work on Sundays).
I'm now tending to think the two issues for the trading halt were/are separate and therefore one shouldn't place too much emphasis on the review until we see the results.
On balance (and reflection) while the announcement(s) this week have come at some surprise, given the recent industry closures, some would have already been factoring it into the share price.
I'm beginning to get the feeling the downside from here is now limited.
