ERG's flawed business model: Selling your equipment and services in return for shares in the local companies with whom you are partnering - instead of taking cold cash.

Problem: How can you ascribe a value to those shares if the companies are unlisted? Cashflow?

Result: A big red line put by your auditors through approx $600 million. That started the rot. SP has never really recovered following that debacle.

Everything they have done over the years since then has been undermined by their inability to manage the projects they have entered into around the world.

So though they have a world-beating technology (the BEST and most adaptable in my opinion) their management has been abysmal.

However, with the rise of terrorism and the need to monitor just about everything, ERG may yet rise from the grave with the Australia Card, the UK Card, The America Card, the Euro Card and such clones around the world....

So hang on for that Last Tango In Extremis...
