Most of the time they don't disclose who they placed shares to until CR is all done.
But if they did disclose they are going to do selective placement, I guess you might have a chance to go the selected broker but not sure if they will take you on at last min.
Specs goes up and down quite volatile, you can always buy on the market at a low if keen, sometimes lower than CR price.
