0123 GMT [Dow Jones] ADV Group (ADS.AU) soars to 28.5 cents then eases, last up 20% at
27.5 cents on heavy trading of 8.3 million shares. Investors excited by first assays from
zone 4 Jabal Sayid project, Saudi Arabia, which included a 254 meters intercept grading
2.65% copper, plus gold/silver/zinc traces, which included an intercept of a prima facie
highly commercial 54 meters grading 8.22% copper, plus these other traces. ADS says
surprised on upside by exploration results, which reinforce belief zone has potential to
"host a very substantial inventory of copper, gold resource in world terms with
significant silver and base metal credits." Early days yet for project, but results
like this put project/ADS on investors' map. (RCB)
