McGowan and Andrews are working hard here on Hot Copper to get a federal labor government into power, so that VIC and WA can sign up to China's Belt and Road initiative asap. Those dinosaur premiers think in terms of making themselves into fountains of wealth redistribution- they need lots and lots of money from somewhere, to make that happen. Can't have a pesky federal government stopping the flow of Chinese cash.
