BLT is having its basic patent challenged by an unknown third party in UK. This challenge, as far as I can tell, is identical to the one recently overcome in US. However, it is a risk that the UK will take a different view to the US and so diminish the possible revenue for BLT and also open up further challenges in other jurisdictions.

I suspect that the outcome will be positive for BLT and the third party may end up putting in a takeover offer when the dust settles.
