Credit Suisse rates KAR as Downgrade to Underperform from Outperform - Target $8.15 (was $17.00). The company's Kontiki-1 well was a disappointment in the broker's view and sees it lower its earnings estimates to reflect higher exploration write-offs.
The changes flow through to a downgrade to an Underperform rating as a reflection of its now reduced expectations for success in the current drilling program, with the broker reducing its price target accordingly.
Once the selling dries out reckon it still has a $8 techno target to reach for main platform creation for later.IMO
