Its easy to just dissappear when the going gets rough PR;-)
Now Im not invalidating your info as its very much on the mark, scarily so in fact.
But what I do question is your posting motivation.
As Ive said before you have popped up at two rough periods for the sp and this time around questioned the unit issue, which is obviously destined to factor in further company developments/future,and not simply DILUTE THE REGISTER for the sake of some O/Seas financiers. These guys would not take such a position if they didnt think the company had future potential.Whatsmore its been done at the current sp level which imho shows the forward strength that the market perceives the company to have.
Imo its a blinkered approach to looking at where Aim is heading, akin to the stallion sprinter thats too restless to race the 1000mtrs for fear of going wild if not blocking out all around him.Imo its not a healthy approach to a longer term investment, but then perhaps thats not what your in it for?
Longer term holders are an inherently stable little lot, even though they have the odd occasion where they get a bit restless themselves, but not to the extent of calling for the resignation of the board or the splitting of the company.
We are talking AFRICAN GREENFIELDS projects here, not an Aussie, investor friendly, project development. If you think that Aim will get away with simply plonking their zinc on the table and saying "here, give me some debt for this zinc" then your sadly mistaken. Its an inherently risky place to do business, even though Aim is in one of the more stable countries.
I would rather see some dilution now that guarantees the advancement of Perkoa and the Mumbwa exploration and that insures the strength of the company financially if they need debt extended to them down the line.Theres nothing like a wad of cash in the bank or equity in a project to impress lenders.
I cant see why they would make such an issue if there wernt very promising numbers to come that justify such an issue. After all,MF has a reasonable amount of stock himself(and the others will quite possibly to,if not shareholder begrudgingly)and he will wish to see the full potential for his stock.
