The only people that still wanted Commodores and Falcons were Centrelink revheads. They could only afford 10 year old second hands. Yet Holden and Ford kept making them. Combine that with poor quality of Ford and Holden vehicles and you got 80% loss of market, in Australia!
It's not the cheap Asian imports that killed Holden but better quality cars that people actually wanted to buy.
