    It's the half-full half-empty glass issue.

    Bad: an exec quits.
    Good: its performance was so bad that without him the company will not be worse and may even survive with the sp going up (pre-Swaddle would be a dream... ok... a fairy tale).

    CNX should communicate more on what is going on.
