After making well over 1,000 posts mainly on stocks, I've decided to stock making contributions (and reading) on Hot Copper.
This is due to sudden declining health of late and I rather use my future time (time I have left) for those things in life which really matter, family. I made some final posts today on several stocks and one on politics (I for one think that the Gillard Government has been disappointing (the worst since Whitlam and McMahon Governments), e.g. Carbon Tax lie, rising costs of living, budget surplus lie (i.e. don't keep on saying you'll deliver a budget surplus and then just before Christmas say that you won't - just give us a budget deficit then and leave it to that) and didn't appreciate the way in which Gillard became PM..I'm a swinging voter please remember with small "l" liberal views (I voted for Rudd in 2007 and Baillieu (Lib) in Vic in 2010), I'm hoping for a return of Turnbull to the leadership so that the Liberals will go back to a more moderate vision for Australia. Should he become leader the next election might well be the biggest landslide in political history as voters are generally sick of the ALP.
I could have gone quietly but would like to thank the moderators for keeping us all in line, an often thankless task. Then there are the posters themselves..agreed with many, disagreed with some..All posters are valuable in contributing their unique views to different topics. Thank you for your contributions.
