it's really perplexing to me.
here we had ESG get an offer from STO at 50c /gj, and there HC threads went ballistic, and there was a huge reaction from s/h and HC posters.
yet here we are in BOW, with an offer of 16c/gj, and we have had very few posts, and a fraction of the angst we experienced with ESG?
i have to say that the BOW board has handled the offer/sale process much better than ESG.
As explained in todays announcement, they appear to have gone thru all the options, before they determined to recommend the Scheme.
i think unlike ESG, BOW has declared that they actively chased competing bidders, and opened their data rooms to those interested parties.
so i guess it came down to a "risk/reward" equation?
