DRILLING SUCCESS AT ‘RAWANG’ MAGNETITE PROJECT
Coziron Resources Ltd (ASX Code: CZR) is pleased to announce excellent drilling results from it’s Rawang Gadang Iron Ore Project (“Rawang”), located in Western Sumatra, Indonesia. Encouraging elevated levels of Fe support magnetite mineralisation that has previously been reported in historic mapping, sampling and trenching activity. Mineralisation has been extended along strike and at depth at the Rawang iron ore project. A total of 20 holes for 1, 320m have been completed to vertical depths of up to 80 metres. Results
from the first 13 holes are tabulated below with assays for the remaining 7 holes expected in the next three weeks. Better intercepts returned include:
Selected drill hole intersections from holes RW001 – RW013.

These results are a significant step in defining a potential small to medium sized high grade magnetite deposit and is in line with the Company’s goal to bring the project to production as soon as practical to enable early cash flow and value to shareholders.
An application for a Mining License was recently submitted following the completion of the Environmental Impact Report. The Mining License is expected to be granted in the next two weeks and will afford the Company the opportunity to commence any future mining operations following economic and technical evaluations. Drilling tested a zone of magnetite which extends 400 metres east-west running semi parallel to the Sumatran Fault Zone (SFZ), and is exposed for 100 metres in width. Historical exploration delineated magnetite mineralization in 10 east-west trending trenches and exposed multiple stacked sheets of blocky magnetite, roughly dipping in sympathy
with the slope. The host rock is a Quaternary volcanic sequence of tuffs and lavas and the prospect appears to be flanked north and south along strike by volcanic flows and is truncated to the west by the SFZ.
Drilling has confirmed a layered magnetite ore body at near surface, and within a weathered sequence of clays and Quarternary volcanics, predominantly andesitic tuffs. The thickest sequence was intersected in hole RW011 and included 92 meters of layered magnetite mineralisation from 3.90 metres.
Mineralisation remains open along strike (NW-SE) in both directions, and in some holes at depth.
Before further drill holes are proposed a complete assessment of current drilling will be undertaken and will include preliminary Davis Tube Recovery (DTR) test work to indicate weight recoveries and concentrate grade. Accurate silica contents will be determined from DTR work; while it is expected simple washing techniques will significantly reduce current detected silica grades, allowing ore beneficiation and producing a direct shipping iron ore (DSO). Levels of Al2O3, SiO2, P2O5 and LOI are all within acceptable limits. The relatively high levels of magnesium oxide (MgO) are an additional benefit as the ore can be considered as “self fluxing”, during blast furnace techniques.
A complete list of assays is tabled at the back of this announcement. The Company is currently seeking an appropriate mining consultant to assist in metallurgical and engineering studies. The Project area is easily accessible by road via the Trans Sumatran Highway (“TSH”) and is located 54km from the
Port City of Padang in Western Sumatra, and is serviced by all major infrastructures.
Results from the remaining seven drill holes will be made available as soon as practical and quantitative studies
indicating potential resource estimates will be given.
