This is a good deal for COK, but what you should really focus on as holders is that this demonstrates their utter lack of integrity.

I posted on this forum about a year ago to inform you all that Hume was a no go. I realize we usually let 'em mine in this country, but the Southern Highlands are simply too high density, and the community too aware of the impacts coal mining will have on their quality of life. These are well educated, reasonably affluent communities. What a ridiculous place to try and set up a coal mine.

It's an indictment of management that they ever thought Hume Coal was a goer.
