Repost - Comments: Substantiate the claim they are making please. [required by Hotcopper].

At a present market cap of $28 million and shares priced at 8.3c, WEC represent a good gamble in my opinion. They are claiming A$1.1 billion against Bayan, and if successful, could get a fair and considerable sum awarded. Not to say that I've any clue as to the result, maybe just that, a punt for those who don't mind losing out.

Thermal coal prices futures rebounded in the states in January,  and are now over $43 per tonne. Augers just a little better of late and just maybe Saudi Arabia and Russia will agree on an oil price production deal and thermal coal may get an uplift from that.

Coal enhancement is going well in the US, even if coal prices have only picked up a bit. The coal fines contracts in South Africa has yet to be fully finalised and this may also improve White Energy's prospects this year.
