Robert Dotson hears a knock at the door of his home at 11.30pm.
A voice allegedly identifies them as members of the Farmington Police Department.
Nobody answered initially then Dotson opened the screen door armed with a handgun.
Officers immediately opened fire. Dotson now dead.
"Dotson’s wife, who also was armed with a handgun, opened fire from the doorway, prompting officers to return fire."
"She was uninjured and complied with the officers’ commands once she realized they were police."
Survived.
The Officers were at the wrong address.
