If guns didn’t exist, would you be calling for sticks to be banned? Of course you wouldn’t be. Or maybe you would.

Guns in the US are for self defence. Criminals can access large capacity magazines and semi automatic weapons. Law abiding citizens should be allowed to access similar weapons if the government can’t secure its borders and police criminals and gangs, etc. The 2nd amendment is perfect.

Australians can judge the US. But don’t judge it from your Australian experience.

AR-15 are the weapon of choice for mass murderers because in a matter of minutes you can kill multiple people and dare say it's a bit harder to apprehend some one with a AR-15 than some one with a stick
