Recently I’ve heard two sides argued, both from Indig people.

The No fella reckons the Voice is not going to represent him, as it will won’t be his clan/language group who will have the Voice. He thought that the Voice would be comprised of urban people who were now a long way from the clans, and had lost connection with their heritage.

The Yes lady was from the Stolen gens, and was hopeful that a Voice would allow people like her parents who had no say in Govt policy be able to have one now, and that situations like hers could be prevented.
