Thanks Chinagirl, but I think you might be a little over the top. When you think about the technology that goes into making an aeroplane fly there are going to be problems from time to time. Most people don't understand the amount of redundancy built into an aeroplane. There are multiples of every system which gives the pilots backup. The certification process that is forced onto aeroplane makers is very strict and puts aircraft through a huge amount of testing. In this case there are more engines than needed. They made it back safely as you would expect.
