i would beg to differ on your advice re never average down in price.

i am invested in a small medical company that over the past year has dropped from around 35c to around 7c ... i bought in before and after the 35c peak

if the drug this company is trialling is commercialised in about a year I will have missed a wonderful opportunity of the parcels i have bought during the biotech market drop of past 2 yrs

it depends on how certain one feels on the end game but holding on to a dog is just senseless

I bought into SEN some 20 yrs ago at $1 when RSA tokens were new tech and had finally had enough about 5 yrs ago when I realised that at 1c the ONLY ppl who are ever going to make money out of it are the same ppl who have been making money out of it for the same 20 yrs ... BOD and mngt.. and not just peanuts but gold plated peanuts ...

so I sold my pittance of SEN and bought into A2M and then sold those after they went from 20c to $3 and bought a few APT and then sold that (unfortunately on the way down the 2020 crash, I should have been smarter and taken profit sooner) to buy a 2017 used car .....which I would clearly never have had had I stuck with some sort of emotional attachment to this share to keep paying obscene salaries through a running tap of CRs

so I sometimes check in here periodically and am absolutely astonished at the same posts I see year on year, 20 years on, of the opinion that next year is going to be THE year ... imagine the possible rewards those investors may have made elsewhere as opposed to just continuing to throw good money after bad (and I am aware that Tamz has other holdings that are doing very nicely for her, from prior posts) but I think that staying here because you have already been in it for 20 yrs may not end up with a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow

I wish all SEN believers and holders all the best luck regardless and hope for your sakes that I am indeed wrong. (I am not an investment guru and am currently underwater on my little portfolio myself,,, I just think throwing good money after bad and holding onto a dog out of emotional or misplaced faith is a shame)
