Whatever happens, we're invested in the work of one of the world's most remarkable and admirable individuals. If PBT2 doesn't do the job, the chaperone theory has still paved the way to stopping AD (and potentially reversing it), and the path to panacea is now well and truly blazed.
If I lose all the money I put on PBT, to paraphrase Al Pacino from Donny Brasco - I'm glad I lost it to Prana.
