Wrong! @MirCat... I'm independent and vote for parties only when necessary. I voted Nat last election because he was the best candidate (very poor showing with 4 Independents but they were all not up to the task)... The Lab candidate was woeful - just a space-filler really. The Lib totally unimpressive. The Green, Sustainable and all the other parties were mostly laughable.
Next election I prob won't bother voting if the candidates don't improve as the Nat guy ended up supporting the Nutter Barnaby Joyce.
IMO we should all be voting for Independents who will truly represent the electorate and get rid of parties.
