Do you have any idea what level of radioactivity might be in a eudialyte con? If it's like old mate Tanbreez, negligible is the answer.

Zone 3 is not in the ore reserve but if one believes @GBB, then most of what is not recovered in the Kvanefjeld float is eudialyte, say 15% of the total REO.

Tanbreez means to sell a con with 2.5% - 2.7% REO.

The current estimate of reserves and resources are set out below:

1.9% ZrO₂

0.65% REO

0.2% NbO₂

0.03% Ta₂O₅, WO₃ and HFO₂

However, as the material can be magnetically separated very cheaply with the costs offset to some extent by the sales of the waste products, the effective true grade is:

9-10% ZrO2

2.5-2.7% REO

1% Nb2O5

0.15% Ta2O5, HFO2
