Nev said it was a cross trade (which it is) but I immediately thought of broker arranged sale.
@SF@HC and @Darth V that sounds like a very real possibility. The quarterly spoke at some length about POSCO's recent CR and stated:
"Based on recent feedback received from POSCO, the Company expects to make further progress in respect of its JV discussions with POSCO over the coming quarters."
POSCO have 25ktpa of LCE in place from their Argentine plant (if they succeed; GXY is taking forever with SDV; Joe Lowry called them doubtful by 2025 last year). They still need to fill the void for their 40ktpa LiOH chemical conversion plans. We have the finance in place to participate ... and expand production. I wouldn't be surprised if they announced a larger plant (LG Chem and POSCO have both doubled Stage 3 and 4 plans since the last JV announcement). Perhaps 21% with an option to expand to 30% of 100ktpa anyone?
Rising Spod prices and overwhelming demand, I don't think it will be long before we see that ATH of $1.47 again ... and more.
Plus I see shorts are down again to 1.72%. No one wants to bet against PLS success anymore.
