It looks increasingly likely that no land based transportation will use hydrogen.Industrial uses, super long term storage & sea-based transportation are most likely candidates.Li-Ion batteries will win all the big games.

Simplicity, economics (lower Li battery cost year-on-year+lower cost tech on transport+lower cost ‘fuel’ distribution) will win the day. Everybody is underestimating the power in the lithium ion battery platform for the next couple of decades.
