Not necessarily moowee, you are referring to short squeeze. Shorts are sitting at 39 mill units as of 4th Feb, and volume of all shares traded has been averaging ~25 mill per day, so I imagine they could cover "buy" 5 mill units per day amongst that volume and sneak out without a fuss.
Since 13 Jan, shorts have reduced from 105 mill to 39 mill, thus reduction of 66 mill, so 3.88 mill per trading day could have covered without any fuss. Just because they are covering, doesn't mean they put strong upward pressure on the sp, they can sneak in and buy with the humans, a day like today would be a ideal for them IMO.
