The problem I have with the battery swap idea is what battery am I getting?
A large proportion of the EV cost is the battery.
If looked after properly the battery lasts longer and retains more charge.
I wouldn’t want my nicely looked after battery that has great charge retention to then be swapped out for an abused one that doesn’t hold charge well and is at the end of its life.
It more get work for cheap city commute vehicles.
But I can’t see people who drop 100 plus k on a car to then be devalued by a dodge battery swap.
