I think your missing the point.
You wouldn't own the battery, you buy the car, you buy the use of the battery only via a rental setup so to speak.
I want a battery that has 50% of new capacity 50 KW battery, that will be $1.50 thanks.
Same again next time etc, just keep it as long as you need with maybe a max term on it so you don't keep it for ever.
Its their property, like a commodity to them so to speak.
