The BYD e2 has gone on sale in China. Prices range from $US12,522 to $16,705. The electric hatchback is powered by a 70kW e-motor. Two battery options - 35.2kWh and 47.3kWh with ranges of 305km (190 miles) and 405km (252 miles).
