Maybe you expected it but almost none of the 10+ analysts I follow on a daily basis did.
Spodumene oversupply was forecasted until mid 2021 with a price rise thereafter in most models.
I was at a BMI spodumene conference in November when they said exactly that.
It's satisfying indeed, but the oversupply story crumbled when demand swung in as hard as it did.
