ANZAPLAN has been appointed byRockTech Lithium Inc. to carry out the production of a lithium hydroxide samplefrom a spodumene concentrate sample using the direct route.
RockTech is a publicly listed company based in Vancouver,Canada, and owns spodumene-bearing pegmatites in the Georgia Lake area locatedin Ontario. RockTech is planning to be a fully integrated company by handlingthe supply chain from raw material to battery grade lithium hydroxide.Currently in the PFS stage, RockTech is targeting to be one of the firstlithium hydroxide producers outside of China to serve the increasing batteryhydroxide demand. Canada and Europe are being considered as locations forinstalling a converter plant that will produce the battery grade lithiumhydroxide from spodumene concentrate.
