Bob, I am thinking similarly to you. As far as shorters go hopefully they will be outgunned by keen buyers at some stage but from what I can see the shorting probably has a lot to do with Moron Stanley (who have big dollars invested in oil projects) and "big oil" coys and the fact that they don't want to see the daily sale of 100,000,000 barrels of oil a day (at $60/barrel ?) end or even slow down anytime soon. They are obviously very prepared to spend billions in shorting to slow the transition to EV's down and probably will try to keep the SP supressed as long as possible
