First ray of light again on the demand side???
After rather disappointing July & August EV sales from the US and from China the German market gives a sign of life.
September numbers are in (www.kba.de) and BEVs went from 1.6% market share in August to 2.4% in September
Plug in hybrids went from 1% market share to 1.5%. The total plug ins (BEVs + PHEVs) almost 4%.
I tend to focus on the market share because the more those cars are seen and felt by customers the likelier it becomes for others to consider and experience them.
The big one to watch out for is now China September NEV sales. I hope they start picking up again after 2 slow months post subsidies cut.
