I've kept an eye out the last few days in Beijing and observed the traffic and vehicles and I can say that:
1. Almost all of the scooters and bikes are electric
2. Almost all, if not all, of the public buses here are electric
3. Very few family sized cars are electric apart from those tiny little 'Smart Car' looking things.
I'm not sure about hybrids but there is the odd Tesla here and there.
