Great Wall already moving in that space, and CATL investigating atm. Because the converter capacity is concentrated in China, and the converters are still focused on the domestic supply, thus many still tooled to pump out LFP batts. The NCM batts are making their way, and that is what the new subsidy regime is all about, readying the China supply chain so it can export EV's to rest of world, that is China's main gaime, as they missed out approx 20 years back to South Korea and Japan.
Messy transition underway, then throw in a trade war just to mess things up further.
Maybe POSCO talk with the crew that built Tesla G3, and bring forward the construction of the JV hydroxide plant, we need to get into the SKorea supply chain.
