When the construction of the Gwangyang plant is completed, the plant will have a total production capacity of 89,000 tons of cathode material per year, together with the 9,000 ton Gumi plant already in operation. It can supply about 60,000 kilowatts (Kw) electric car battery of about 740,000 units.
Is that comes to fruition POSCO would probably need all of our stage 3 potential, makes them a very good candidate for the Partnering process...
