That bit is BS. It was SA's Labor Premier at the time, Jay Weatherill, who made the deal with Musk ( "installed in 100 days or it's free" ).
The federal Liberals kept blaming SA's Renewable Power for that once-in-a-century storm that knocked out transmission towers & led to the statewide blackouts. Funny how the Lib's are now in favour of the battery seeing that the state now has a Liberal govt.
