China 2019 NEV production 1.177 mill, - 4% YoY (down about 47k units from 2018). Total 2019 installed battery capacity 62.38 GWh, + 9% YoY.
Overall vehicle sales not known at this point, but throughout 2019 CY sales were recording low teen falls on a monthly basis, so EV's have held up quite well, continuing to gnaw away at ICE. ICE peaked in 2017, another 1.2 mill EV units on the road in China, gnawing away at oil demand, though will be a slow death unitl the EU and US hit their stride.
