PLS has many "competitors/industry participants" in its Top 20 shareholders. For any of them (or an external like Tesla) to buy PLS means those Top 20 need to agree and perhaps give their own aspirations (whatever they may be), away. Having said that, money talks. If an offer is attractive enough, I'll never say never (IIRC, Posco bought in at 97 cents per share so what would entice them to sell ?)
