Agree.
The fellow who wrote this book in the link below is a pretty smart guy, and an environmentalist (he sits on the left side of politics I suppose you could say).
He agreed with many points of the documentary your mentioning but said it missed the critical point regarding a lot of the renewable s and that's how land intensive they are relative to the amount of energy they can produce, which in itself will eventually be a huge problem.
In the interview he suggested that fossil fuels/nuclear etc. burned cleaner etc. would help to provide a cleaner planet. But solely relying on windmills/solar wont cut it.
Efficient based load power (whatever that is) combined with clean cars etc. will be the way forward, which obviously PLS will hopefully play a big role in helping to provide.
