Yes, even better is that solid state batteries will allow the use of Lithium anodes rather than Graphite anodes. So the batteries will actually use more Lithium not less, I assume. More importantly, if solid state batteries ever live up to the hype then all forms of energy storage will run to Lithium, including planes trains and ships.
The world will have to find a lot more Lithium and figure out ways of economically extracting all the lesser quality resources that are out there.
