Don't bet against Elon man, pretty much anyone who is producing lithium right now is going to see upside over the next few years.
I do not know how Elon disrespected lithium producers on battery day, if anything al he said was he is quite sure no one has come up with getting lithium from clay using sodium. Once Tesla announce their next major China factory which will be likely announced after Q4 earnings report or early next year.
Soon as Asia gets there hunger for more lithium were pretty much in accumulation mode until the big jump so just buckle in bro I'm here for the long haul.
