Now we are getting somewhere.

I didn’t hear anyone saying running costs are zero. Reduced yes. Upfront costs yes. Ongoing maintenance costs reduced yes.

Plenty of solar uptake at 7c p/kWh export.

Even in the utility business, people were reluctant to have solar installed. Now they nearly all have and even at 7c export their power costs are neutral. Pay back period is still very reasonable and way ahead of no solar. The same will be for ESS & EV uptake. Once the price crossover between ICE and EV happens (it’s close) it will be a tsunami.

Anyway this discussion has been flogged to death. Good luck with whatever decisions you make. Let’s revisit this conversation in a few years. I’ll mark it in my calendar.
