This new 450MWhr Tesla battery going into Victoria for 84M equates to a $187 per kWhr of battery storage. Assuming Neoen and Tesla also have their own markups, it shows that the cost per kWhr of large scale Lithium ion batteries is falling quickly. Expect more big grid scale battery announcements around the world to follow quickly.
