I might also add:
They push the SP up in morning enticing weak hands, and those that are thinking about selling, or those that have had a long hard time to break even, to sell which satisfies their object - to get more supply to accumulate more.
They can ONLY exit by buying their way out, so this mechanism works well to achieve exit at the lowest possible cost.
They're still stuffed however, IMO. as this volume is going to be hard to sustain day in day out.
