Taxing EVs this early is bloody ridiculous and may result in people second guessing their uptake slightly. I guess the broader public will support this decision, until we all realise we won't really have a decision to avoid this tax with our next new car purchase. Hopefully Victorians or any decent politician involved in this space will knock this on the head, I think the fossils prevail though both literally and figuratively...
