Agree, maxd, there's too much focus on "what's in it for me" rather than the broader "what's good for PLS and their stakeholders" discussion.
To that end, and to respond to your question: "When will the Altura plant be taken out of C&M ? " - we only have to look as far as GXY at Mt Cattlin and published statements by their CEO (Simon Hay) re the recommencement of full operations (at Mt Cattlin). GXY have stated they are looking to ramp back up to full production early in CY2021 on the basis the price of spod has recovered from its lows. In other words, when there are cash profits to be made.
Looking at the recent pricing data from Fastmarkets, it appears prices are now heading north.
So, an educated guess for recommencement of Altura (Pilgangoora plant) operations is sometime 2nd half of CY2021. The great thing about that is that the market needs to reflect the additional revenues (and margins) in PLS valuations - which hasn't been done to date (until the ALO purchase outcome was established).
Bottom line, we have a new positive price variable that should drive the PLS further than previous estimates given the outcome of Friday's (AJM) creditors meeting.
